Located on the outskirts of Hoenderloo, in the middle of the woods, you can walk from the campsite straight into the woods.     A quiet campground in the Veluwe. Don’t expect any wild parties or lively socializing, especially not during the off-season. Everything looks very neat, though. It’s run in a slightly old-fashioned way by a family with a lot of (unnecessary and restrictive) rules.

    Rustige camping op de Veluwe. Verwacht geen uitspattingen met een feestje / gezelligheid, zeker niet buiten het seizoen. Alles ziet er overigens keurig uit. Tikkeltje ouderwets gerund door een familie met erg veel (onnodige en beperkende) regeltjes.

    A beautifully situated and well-designed family campground. There’s plenty for the kids to do in the summer, but it can get pretty noisy at times. However, there are two things that are absolutely unacceptable:
    1. While the Wi-Fi coverage is somewhat extensive, getting online is purely a matter of luck. Charging money for that is completely … unacceptable!
    2. Even though about 20 sites were still occupied, they closed one of the two restroom buildings as of October 1.
    Otherwise, though, the staff is very friendly, and the sites and service are good.

    Ein sehr schön gelegener und auch schön gestalteter Familiencampingplatz. Für die Kinder wird im Sommer viel geboten, das kann dann aber auch mal laut werden. 2 Dinge gehen aber gar nicht:
    1. das WLAN ist zwar einigermaßen ausgebaut, aber Zugang zum Internet ist reine Glückssache. Dafür auch noch Geld zu verlangen geht gar nicht!
    2. obwohl noch ca. 20 Parzellen belegt waren, hat man zum 1. Oktober eines der beiden Sanitärhäuser dicht gemacht.
    Ansonsten aber sehr freundliches Personal, gute Parzellen und Service.
